Intense ripe cherry-red colour of a medium-high
layer. Red currant, blackberry, sugar beet tones. Brilliant and
attractive aspect. In nose, it is ample, complex and elegant. Fruit
scents and a clear presence of green peppers mixed with liquorice,
vanilla, cocoa, high-roast coffee and leather nuance in the background.
Flower hints of carnation and mimosa. In mouth it is vigorous and
structured with a featured touch of its delicate acidity. Vegetable
flavours and a ripe fruit aftertaste (plums, black berries and
raspberries. Hints of black pepper, cinammon and clove. It is a wine
with a powerful tannic structure, very long and persistent.
Serving Suggestions:
It matches with all types of red meat (beef, lamb, roebuck, etc.) as
well as game in their different ways of cooking. It is also very
adequate for stuffed foods such as loin, sirloin and ham. |
