Wine features: Very brilliant ruby-red coloured wine with tile-coloured hues. It has a medium and warm body. It has a complex scent, as a result of a long ageing process (spices, coffee, leather and wood). It is vigorous in mouth, well-structured with a great richness of sensations, ample and with well-combined noble tannins. This wine shows an elegant retronasal via and a long persistence, with very expresive features coming from its wood ageing. It has a good acidity and a long life.
Serving suggestions: Its consumption must take place at a temperature ranging between 16º and 18ºC and it is a wine specially recommended for soft-pasted cheese, red meat and game dishes. If it is someshow cooler, it matches very well with smoked fish or seafood. It is advisable to open the bottle 1 hour before its consumption for a proper wine oxygenation. |
