Soil composition: Moderately clayey.

Wine features: Intense ruby-red coloured wine with some tile-coloured rim. With a very elegant ageing scent, it presents a medium body, but a warm one. Its long ageing process provides it with a wide range of range of fruity nuances and a wood, tobacco and high roast coffee note. In mouth, it is velvety and consistent. A round, soft palate constitutes the real proof of its good production technique and magnificent ageing process, which result in a rich and wide range of taste and olfactory sensations. It is a silky and balanced wine which leaves on the palate a tempting memory to give in to.

Serving suggestions: It is advisable to consume it at a room temperature, oxygenated enough to remove its intense reduction scents (open the bottle at least 1 or 2 hours before its consumption). It matches with both red and white meat, cured or fresh yellow or blue pasted cheese. At a lower temperature, it is recommented to match it with raw or sauced fish or a good pâté.
